SUPER MAG LAB

Welcome to the Superconductivity & Magnetic materials Lab headed by Dr. Manoj Raama Varma, affiliated to the Materials Science and Technology Division of CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

In the Super Mag Lab, we produce superconductorslike MgB2, BSSCO, as wires and tapes; and magnetic materials like Heusler alloys and rare earth-based intermetallics for magnetocaloric applications, perovskite materials for spintronic applications, multifunctional heterostructures showing magnetoelectric coupling and also several magnetic nanostructures and thermoelectric materials.

We welcome any possible collaborations, comments, and suggestions, from colleagues and peers with shared research interests from all over the world
